The Dining Services Coordinator is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of dining and hospitality operations within our community, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality standards for our residents. This role ensures exceptional customer service, culinary excellence, and regulatory compliance, while creating a warm, welcoming dining experience that reflects the community’s values. Key responsibilities include overseeing food preparation and service in alignment with Sunrise’s culinary programs, managing dietary modifications, procurement, budgeting, labor scheduling, hiring, training, and supervising dining team members. The Dining Services Coordinator also ensures proper sanitation, cleanliness of kitchen and dining room, safe food handling, accurate recordkeeping, inventory management, and consistent adherence to all applicable regulations. In addition to operational excellence, the Dining Coordinator plays a critical role in building and supporting a strong, motivated, and professional dining team, ensuring team members are empowered and equipped to perform at their best. The ideal candidate demonstrates a resident-first mindset, communicates effectively with their team, residents and families, and contributes to a culture of service, respect, and continuous improvement.
