Sunrise Senior Living has an immediate need for an experienced Purchasing Agent at its corporate office location in McLean, VA (Tysons Corner).
The selected candidate will coordinate, facilitate and manage the formularies and/or order guides, as assigned, in direct support all North American Sunrise communities. He/she will independently coordinate and ensure the conversion and implementation of new supplier agreements into corporate order guides; blocking all non-approved products. The candidate will track and accurately process rebates and purchasing incentives received by the department and will serve as a principal Corporate Purchasing staff liaison tasked with interfacing with the communities, field operations, and suppliers.
The ability to successfully work in a team environment, communicate effectively, interact with cross-functional department managers/leaders, properly prioritize daily work-related activities, and understand and assist in the resolution of multi-layered accounting issues in a complex corporate structure, is essential.
