     The Manager of Learning & Organizational Events will collaborate with Senior Executives, cross-organizational stakeholders, and third-party partners in the planning, design, development, and execution of key organizational events. He/She will possess significant knowledge in areas such as: adult learning design and development, large scale meeting logistics management, and organizational diagnosis and design. The Manager of Learning & Organizational Events will report to the VP of Talent Management and be an integral member of the Human Resources team.


    •   Lead the strategy, execution, and evaluation of 2 organizational events (Annual Leadership Conference and National Sales Rally) including defining target audience, setting objectives, designing agenda, developing content and show flows, and managing internal and 3rd-party resources
    • Support business leaders on the strategy and execution of other organizational events (Care Conference/Summit, East and West Division meetings, UK GM Conference)
    • Collaborate with HR Leaders to plan and deliver departmental programs geared towards learning, leadership, and team development (Annual HR Mtg, HR Team Sessions, ED Basics, Regional Basics, SDG Program Launch, etc.)
    • Provide onsite event support may include participating in pre-cons, POC for presenters and 3rd-party vendors (e.g., production team, hotel team, and event planning teams), conducting rehearsals, and coaching presenters
    • Manage Learning Specialist responsible for executing on logistics management across multiple programs
    • Other duties, as assigned

     Essential duties include driving and/or oversight of:

    • Project management (Processes, workstreams, and timelines)
    • Organizational event calendar
    • Site selection
    • Contract negotiations
    • Resource management (internal and 3rd-party)
    • Stakeholder management
    • Events-related internal communication
    • Agenda planning
    • Content development in alignment with strategic business objectives (e.g., learning, leadership development, culture reinforcement)
    • Roster management
    • Budget, invoice submission, expense reconciliation
    • Program evaluation: metrics and reporting to Executive Leadership Team
    • Travel required (approx. 8-10 trips annually; including attendance of (1) combined program – 8 days)


    • Skilled at working collaboratively across all levels of the organization

    • Experienced in learning design and development

    • Consultative skills including organizational diagnosis and design

    • Ability to navigate ambiguity, to make sense of disparate information and create a forward-moving plan

    • Working knowledge of event production and logistics management for large-scale meetings and events (250-500+)

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

      Education & Experience:

    •  Advanced degree in Organizational Development, HR or related studies desired
    • 5-7 years of related experience in Organizational Development, Talent Management and/or Learning and Development. Event Management experience is desired.
