Sunrise Senior Living has joined with AllyAlign Health to form Sunrise Advantage Plan, a Medicare Advantage Health Plan designed to address the unique healthcare needs of Sunrise residents. We are currently recruiting for the Sunrise Advantage Plan Specialist (formerly known as Member Advocates). The Sunrise Advantage Plan Specialist (SAP) is a regional position designed to support residents, families, Sunrise communities and providers in understanding the benefits of and to build enrollment in the Sunrise Advantage Plan. The SAP will serve as the primary point of contact for the member and/or their families during their enrollment with the Plan and will work alongside the Sunrise regional and community teams during the process.
The incumbent is expected to maintain an office out of his or her home, as no formal office space/work location is provided. The SAP conducts the majority of their work within Sunrise communities, virtually and telephonically in the assigned geographic region.
The position is multi-faceted in its responsibilities, encompassing all of the essential elements of successfully marketing and managing the Sunrise Advantage Plan to Sunrise residents and the network of health care providers that are part of the Plan. Most importantly, because the incumbent’s primary duty will be the daily exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to the most significant aspects of the Sunrise Advantage Plan, the individual must demonstrate maturity, a business acumen, problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently.
