    At Sunrise, our Talent Acquisition Manager / Recruiter (TAM) is responsible for supporting our Senior Living communities by acquiring the best talent.  The TAM will source, screen and present candidates for sales, nursing and management positions throughout their dedicated region. The TAM also partners closely with our People Strategy team to identify and develop strategy around talent acquisition in our major markets.


    • Recruit for Sunrise community and regional positions with a primary focus on recruiting Executive Directors, Directors of Sales and Resident Care Directors (Nurse Managers)
    • Offer progressive, innovative and strategic solutions to delivering top talent, customer satisfaction and continuous process improvement
    • Develop and promote talent acquisition methodology which maintains high-level candidate engagement throughout the recruitment, interviewing, assessment and selection process
    • Ensure recruitment processes and procedures are utilized consistently throughout the organization
    • Ensure legal compliance in hiring practices
    • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key leaders and internal customers across the business as a trusted recruitment advisor
    • Maintain or exceed key performance metrics
    • Consult with the People Strategy team and Regional Leaders to identify talent gaps hindering achievement of business goals and strategy, including creation of plans and tools to close those gaps through talent acquisition
    • Act as a resource on Talent Acquisition topics for colleagues throughout the company


    • 5+ years of dedicated recruiting experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
    • Comprehensive knowledge of staffing processes, systems and talent acquisition practices
    • Well-developed business acumen and ability to understand how talent strategy can influence business objective
    • Ability to travel overnight for recruitment events as needed
    • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, previous experience working remotely strongly preferred
    • Previous Applicant Tracking System experience preferred (iCIMS strongly preferred)
    • Previous experience recruiting in a healthcare environment desired
