The Server (Dining Room Care Manager) is responsible for providing dining and table services to residents in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Sunrise Senior Living standards. The Server (Dining Room Care Manager) is responsible for serving as a role model in providing dining service and assisting training care managers, maintaining proper dining room set up, assisting in special events, monitoring appropriate checklists in support of the dining area cleanliness and readiness standards, and assisting in tabletop inventories maintenance. Responsible for handling all food and beverages in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state/provincial, and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

The Cook uses their knowledge and experience in food production to ensure the proper, timely, and safe preparation and service of food according to established recipes, while adhering to all food safety and sanitation requirements and maintaining a safe and orderly kitchen. Responsible to effectively manage all food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.

The Housekeeper is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions in order to create a safe, secure, and inviting environment for residents, families, and team members while meeting and exceeding Sunrise quality service standards.

The Dining Services Coordinator I is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, overall leadership, and management of the dining and hospitality operations in the community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, food preparation and service in accordance with the Sunrise culinary programs, accurate delivery of dietary modifications, procurement, financial and budgetary management, labor management, hiring, supervising and training team members, ensuring proper sanitation and safe food handling, accurate record keeping, inventory and rotation of products, regulatory compliance, and communicating with residents and families to ensure high levels of resident satisfaction.

The Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) is responsible for providing overall leadership and management of the Assisted Living, Terrace Club and/or Reminiscence Neighborhoods to which they are assigned. Responsibilities include but are not limited to participating in the evaluation of and service planning for residents, leading the care manager team in the provision of high quality, safe care to residents, collaborating with the Resident Care Director (RCD) when residents require care that is clinical in nature, and creating staffing and scheduling plans for the care manager team. The RCC assists in the recruiting, hiring, and training of team members, and is responsible for team member recognition, engagement and performance management and evaluations.
