The Concierge is often the initial contact and first impression that many people have of Sunrise Senior Living. The Concierge is responsible for greeting potential residents, families, and visitors, managing both external and internal calls, and taking and communicating messages. The Concierge provides an overview of community information to those inquiries in support of the Director of Sales (DOS) and Executive Director (ED). Responsible for assisting the Business Office Coordinator (BOC)/HR Designee in the community recruitment process, computer data entry, and other assigned general administrative duties as well as monitoring the Bistro area for refreshments, cleanliness, and music and ensuring a pleasant atmosphere.
The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership of assigned dining room(s) operations. The Dining Room Supervisor is a working leader in day to day operations directly supervising and assisting the dining services team, maintains a resident focus business decorum at all times, manages dining flow and balances the serving responsibilities among dining staff. Assists the community in maintaining consistent and high quality service standards in all dining rooms
The Cook uses their knowledge and experience in food production to ensure the proper, timely, and safe preparation and service of food according to established recipes, while adhering to all food safety and sanitation requirements and maintaining a safe and orderly kitchen. Responsible to effectively manage all food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for performing maintenance and housekeeping duties in the community and around the community grounds as assigned. Responsible for assisting with maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the residents, guests, and team members.
The Activities Assistant is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day delivery of resident centered activities and programs for the Sunrise Senior Living Community while meeting and/or exceeding Sunrise quality standards. The Activities Assistant will assist in the development and leading of the community’s engaging resident centered activities and volunteer programs and services for the community.
The Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) is responsible for providing assistance and supervision of the clinical care and services to our guests/residents in the skilled nursing center in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and Sunrise Senior Living policies in promotion of the highest degree of quality care and services to our guests/residents.
The Director of Nursing Services is responsible for providing leadership and management to the skilled nursing operations. Responsible for planning, organizing and leading overall operations of nursing services in accordance with federal, state and local standards and Sunrise Senior Living policies to promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our guests/residents.
The Driver is responsible for providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities while providing quality service. Responsible for maintaining paperwork and records in addition to maintaining the community’s vehicles in good working condition to include monthly and pre-trip vehicle inspections. Responsible for ensuring effective communication with residents and families and for notifying the Assisted Living Coordinator (ALC) and/or Reminiscence Coordinator (RC) of any changes in a resident’s condition or behavior. Responsible for reading the Daily Log and for making appropriate entries as needed.
The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and janitorial duties in areas dedicated to the production and consumption of food and beverage, including the kitchen, dining room, bistro, private dining room, serveries/pantries, and any other identified locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to dish and pot washing, cleaning of general areas and kitchen equipment, and storage and rotation of food and supplies while adhering to all food safety and sanitation requirements and maintaining a safe and orderly kitchen.
The Medication Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services by administering medication and treatments in a safe organized manner. Responsibilities include but are not limited to administration of medications, documentation of medication administration, and providing resident care while demonstrating the Mission for Sunrise Senior Living, “to champion the quality of life for all seniors” in accordance with federal, state/provincial, and local laws, standards, and regulations and Sunrise Senior Living policies to promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents.
The Server is responsible for providing timely and professional meal service to residents and guests, bussing and resetting tables, general cleaning, and completing assigned side work while adhering to all food safety and sanitation requirements and maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.

The Director of Sales (DOS) is responsible for the marketing and sales planning and execution for the community. The DOS is delegated significant and discretionary powers to market their community. The DOS takes the lead in assessing the local market and developing a marketing plan tailored to the geographic region in which the community is located and developing a Sales and Marketing Budget. Through the development of a successful Sales Plan, the DOS will sell the community by advancing leads through the sales process with the objective of reaching and maintaining budgeted occupancy and revenue goals.
The Housekeeper is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions in order to create a safe, secure, and inviting environment for residents, families, and team members while meeting and exceeding Sunrise quality service standards.
The Life Enrichment Manager is responsible for consistently engaging residents in familiar routines of daily living through personalized Life Skills that “Create Pleasant Days” for residents. Life Skills are familiar tasks that residents enjoyed doing in the past that can still bring a sense of success, meaning, and purpose in the present. The Life Enrichment Manager is responsible for designing Life Skills to reflect each resident’s past interests and for providing them with encouragement, prompts, and hands on assistance.
