The Wellness Nurse is responsible for monitoring the health and well-being of our residents and provides leadership support and assistance with resident care and services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to overall well-being of our residents, assisting in training and monitoring of medication care administration, communication with resident support services and families, and maintaining clinical quality assurance while leading and demonstrating the Mission for Sunrise Senior Living, “to champion the quality of life for all seniors” in accordance with federal, state/provincial, and local standards and Sunrise Senior Living policies to promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents.
The Reminiscence Coordinator is responsible for providing overall leadership and management of the reminiscence neighborhood. Responsibilities include promoting excellence in resident care in accordance with each resident’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP), programming, providing outreach and support to families, being resourceful and knowledgeable with the Family Resource Library and the evolving information on Alzheimer’s disease. Responsible for championing the designated care manager concept throughout the neighborhood, assisting in the recruiting, hiring, and training of team members, completing staffing, scheduling and timekeeping review, team member recognition, engagement, and performance management.
The Lead Server is responsible for providing dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Sunrise Senior Living standards. The Lead Server is responsible for training new servers, maintaining proper dining room set up, assisting in special events, monitoring appropriate checklists in support of the dining area cleanliness and readiness standards and assisting in table top inventories maintenance. Responsible for handling all food and beverages in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.
The Driver is responsible for providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities while providing quality service. Responsible for maintaining paperwork and records in addition to maintaining the community’s vehicles in good working condition to include monthly and pre-trip vehicle inspections. Responsible for ensuring effective communication with residents and families and for notifying the Assisted Living Coordinator (ALC) and/or Reminiscence Coordinator (RC) of any changes in a resident’s condition or behavior. Responsible for reading the Daily Log and for making appropriate entries as needed.
The Kitchen Utility Worker is responsible for cleaning and janitorial duties in areas dedicated to the production and consumption of food and beverage, including the kitchen, dining room, bistro, private dining room, serveries/pantries, and any other identified locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to dish and pot washing, cleaning of general areas and kitchen equipment, and storage and rotation of food and supplies while adhering to all food safety and sanitation requirements and maintaining a safe and orderly kitchen.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Facilities Management functions in the community and around the community grounds. Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the residents, which is accomplished by having a working knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical and mechanical, equipment repair, and related code requirements. Responsible for being a team player with sound organizational and time management skills and the ability to interact positively with all team members to meet the community’s objectives.
The Housekeeper is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions in order to create a safe, secure, and inviting environment for residents, families, and team members while meeting and exceeding Sunrise quality service standards.
The Medication Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services by administering medication and treatments in a safe organized manner. Responsibilities include but are not limited to administration of medications, documentation of medication administration, and providing resident care while demonstrating the Mission for Sunrise Senior Living, “to champion the quality of life for all seniors” in accordance with federal, state/provincial, and local laws, standards, and regulations and Sunrise Senior Living policies to promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents.

The Concierge is responsible for greeting potential residents, families, and visitors, managing both external and internal calls, and taking and communicating messages. The Concierge provides an overview of community information to those inquiries in support of the Director of Sales (DOS) and Executive Director (ED). Responsible for assisting the Business Office Coordinator (BOC)/HR Designee in the community recruitment process, computer data entry, and other assigned general administrative duties as well as monitoring the Bistro area for refreshments, cleanliness, and music and ensuring a pleasant atmosphere.

The Director of Sales (DOS) is responsible for the marketing and sales planning and execution for the community. The DOS is delegated significant and discretionary powers to market their community. The DOS takes the lead in assessing the local market and developing a marketing plan tailored to the geographic region in which the community is located and developing a Sales and Marketing Budget. Through the development of a successful Sales Plan, the DOS will sell the community by advancing leads through the sales process with the objective of reaching and maintaining budgeted occupancy and revenue goals.
